Chart interrupting other funtionality

I am creating a charting widget using cedar, the widget works fine but then the heatmap functionality in same application gets affected and does not work.
Using featureservice to create dataset.

Is this cedar v0 or v1? JSAPI v3.x? 4.x?

I would need to see some code to really understand what's happening here, but my guess would be that you're passing an array of graphics from the feature layer to cedar, and maybe manipulating that array (filtering/sorting) directly. Can you try passing a copy of the array to cedar?
