Each time browser starts a connection to eff.org is made. It should not do it.
Being a privacy extension, that is specially bad. Don't touch the internet unless the user asks for it.

Hi @hexearth, thanks for getting in touch!

As per our FAQ, Privacy Badger pings its CDN for the following resources to ensure that the information in them is fresh even if there hasn’t been a new Privacy Badger release in a while:

The Electronic Frontier Foundation does not set cookies or retain IP addresses for these queries.

Could you explain further why fetching these resources is bad?
