Characteristics:

  • Content items easily editable as text files (content attributes in yaml format, referencing markdown files for rich text objects and media objects as links) arranged in a hierarchy of file-system folders. Superior to blogging formats based on the Jekyll front matter yaml format, which only allows for a single rich text "blog post" object.
  • Command-line used to upsert (create/update) content items directly to the SCS (structured content server).
  • Preview possible through a staging version of the CWA (client web app).
