I use a lot of Spaces, and my Music player (Spotify) is typically active on my first space. It would be nice if MusicBar had a quick shortcut to jump to the active music player if I want to favorite a song, or maybe choose different music etc.

Ideas:

  • Double click menu bar icon/popup to switch (single click just opens popup same as current behavior)
  • Within the popup have a button/logo for the active app to switch to it.

Had the same idea. I will do it at some point. :)

I think the cleanest implementation for this would be to just double click the album art (or even single click) to bring the player window to the front. That's behavior I've seen in many menubar remotes — it's enough of a pattern that I often try to double click on the art in MusicBar to do this. Just my 2¢

This would be great! Or maybe an icon in the corner and select that, similar to SpotMenu
