The SF campaign is hoping to use HillaryBNB to coordinate hotel room sharing. HillaryBNB can be used for this although the wording could make it more clear.

New homepage wording could be:

How Home/Hotel Sharing Works

1 Fill out a quick user profile using your Facebook or Google login.
2 Create a travel request or hosting/hotel-share offer.
3 Travelers send their contact info and trip details to nearby hosts/hotel-sharers.
4 Hosts/hotel-sharers confirm by phone or email.

It's awkward but maybe OK?

User's homepage could be:

(green button): FIND A PLACE TO STAY (currently FIND A HOST)
(red button):

OFFER A PLACE TO STAY
(YOUR HOME OR YOUR HOTEL ROOM)

(currently I CAN HOST)

PROPOSED (David's suggestions above + edits) - NEEDS EDITS/ NOT FINAL COPY

How Home/Hotel Sharing Works

Fill out a quick user profile using your Facebook or Google login & Create a travel request or hosting/hotel-share offer.

If you are looking for accommodations:
You will be able to search for nearby Hosts/hotel-sharers and send your contact information to them.
The Hosts/hotel-sharer will then reach out to you by phone or email to arrange accommodations.

If you are hosting or offering a hotel-share:
You will receive a DAILY? email with contact information for volunteers interested in lodging with you. You will be responsible for reaching out to them and coordinating hosting or sharing a a hotel with them.

We help you find each other, you do the rest.

@dsjoerg What do you think of this copy for homepage? Details beyond this added to FAQ.

UPDATED SUGGESTION - NAN 10/11

Headline: Welcome to Hillary BNB*!
(Note somewhere in small text no affiliation with Air BnB)

Subhead: A room sharing service for the grassroots wing of the Hillary Clinton Campaign, helping volunteers find free lodging on the road.

We help you find each other, you do the rest.
