Is required the path /home/username/.local/share/reshade/.git/ for work correctly ?

Thanks for reading my topic.
When started Goverlay GUI and selecting vkbasalt in option "reshade" was used "sync" command so was downloaded files in /home/username/.local/share/reshade/
Have an path /home/augusto/.local/share/reshade/.git/ with some source files. That files are required for vkbasalt work correctly or only /home/username/.local/share/reshade/Shaders/ and /home/username/.local/share/reshade/Textures/ are enough ?

The files in ~/.local/share/reshade/.git are not required for vkBasalt.

But, they might be required for GOverlay to update the reshade files. It uses git according to https://github.com/benjamimgois/goverlay/blob/fc654d033847a3280ac3a1eb7945f64789b8fc54/README.md?plain=1#L42
