About biology physics in ROMS

Dear,

We are trying to use COAWST to do the biology-related simulation.

We noticed that COAWST currently includes CoSiNE 2.0 in ROMS/Nonlinear/Biology/umaine.h, and we have some questions about it.

Since the official ROMS github does not include CoSiNE as one of biology options, has CoSiNE been tested within the COAWST framework?

Currently, some modifications to CoSiNE (e.g., reading biology.in while calling functions in inp_decode_mod) are required to successfully compile the COAWST in the WRF+ROMS+CoSiNE configuration, we are not sure whether further modifications to CoSiNE in COAWST are needed or not.

CoSINE has not been thoroughly tested to run in COAWST.
If you need to modify that code, you should. I dont have the staff to support these additional biology routines. If you want to make the modifications, i can distribute the changes.
