I've had a report of instances of nodes starting up and performing doppelganger checks, and while doing that performing attestations...

The reported version is 24.8.0, we should understand how we get into this scenario...

It's clear from the screenie that it's performing doppelganger checks while the attestations occur.

basically this is running the VC separate, with an external-signer defined, and validator-api-enabled...

link to the config of the VC: https://github.com/dappnode/DAppNodePackage-teku-generic/blob/7f39a3bd1660efa72b2b6b114118016b3d8a1881/validator/entrypoint.sh#L28

Can we get more details about how Teku was running when this happened (config, settings, keys...) so we could try to reproduce it?
I checked the code and can see that the external signer use case is well covered and tested.

Do we have any new infos about this or should we close it for now and reopen it if needed?
