My tool does not change PRODINFO, and you should ever use safe options, or brick. You can't only change region and power off, because if you use non-tencent mode and language other than You have to sign a proper or you can just backup your saves in USER partition and wipe your system saves for a manual factory reset. There should be community guides for the purpose, and please allow me being lazy and not providing any further instruction on this. |

I have a US region Switch with SX modchip. Used this thinking that it will open up my wifi region channels, referring to this tutorial https://forum.devchroma.nl/index.php?topic=222.0 . Your app made it easy. Tried changing regions to Japan, Europe, no problems, until I tried China in which I got error 2162-0002.
Unfortunately I did it on my sysNAND, and don't have a backup. But I do have a backup of my prod.keys in which I was able to extract and decrypt the prodinfo.bin from the bricked sysNAND. But I see that referring to the tutorial above, on Hex location 0x3510, the prodinfo still states US region as follows
0x3510 0x351E Region
01 00 66 3E US
Is your app changing this section of the prodinfo, or am I in the wrong direction to recover my Switch. Or that I'm screwed :(
