Embedded Sound Cuts Sounds Short

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the embedded player.
2. Listen to a reasonably long piece of text (more then 3-4 seconds)
3. Watch it chop off the speech before it finishes playing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should wait for one speech sound to finish playing before it starts with
another.
