Checkpoint crashing on "NEW" 3DS XL when exiting application via HOME or START button.

Checkpoint takes forever to close and then when it does close it crashes my system. It has happened twice. I have tried to remove checkpoint and reinstalled it but it keeps happening. Please see the attached dump files to assist.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go into checkpoint app
2. Click the home button / start button to exit
3. Crashing device when closing

Expected behavior
When I close the app it doesnt crash my system. I am only having this issue with my "NEW" 3DS XL and not my OG 3DS

i have experienced this as well on a New 2DS XL, same system version and latest checkpoint
