It will be very useful to have something like:

#define ORMLITE_STRINGIFY(x)      #x
#define ORMLITE_XSTRINGIFY(x)    ORMLITE_STRINGIFY(x)

#define ORMLITE_VERSION_MAJOR 1
#define ORMLITE_VERSION_MINOR 2
#define ORMLITE_VERSION_RELEASE 3

#define ORMLITE_VERSION_STRING \
   ORMLITE_XSTRINGIFYORMLITE_VERSION_MAJOR) "." \
   ORMLITE_XSTRINGIFY(ORMLITE_VERSION_MINOR) "." \
   ORMLITE_XSTRINGIFY(ORMLITE_VERSION_REVISION)
