Project Roadmap

The following is a high-level roadmap and timeline for the Prism.Avalonia project. In the past, I managed this in a private scrum board to keep things on point.

Below are the highlights for what's to come

2025-xx

In the planning phase

2024-Q4

• Prism.Avalonia.Toolkit NuGet - (On-Track)
  • Adds attribute code-generators similar to Fody or CommunityToolkit
• NotificationService for in-app popups - so you don't have to
• More Behavior support
• Prism.Avalonia Templates enhancements
  • ? Auto-register View/ViewModel
  • ? Auto-register services
• Testing of Android, iOS, Web.

2024-Q3

I'd like to point out that efforts moving forward are for Prism v9.0.x and Avalonia v11.1.

• Release Prism.Avalonia 9.0.537 - In-Progress
• Prism.Avalonia.Toolkit - In development
• Release Prism.Avalonia 9.0.401-pre
• Updated to Avalonia v11.1.x
  • No longer updating for v11.0 - unless if maintenance patch is needed
• NEW❗ Created Prism.Avalonia Project Template Pack!
• Create sample projects

2024-Q2

• Published Prism.Avalonia v8.1.97.11073
  • Build on: Avalonia v11.0.7 and Prism v8.1.97
  • Moving forward, all focus will be on Prism v9.x
  • This package is compatible with Avalonia v11.1
• Updated to Avalonia v11.0.x
• Updated to Prism.Core v9.0.401-pre
• Migrated to use Prism.Events
• Updated sample projects to use the latest Prism library NuGets
• Working with the Prism team - Dan Siegel and Brian Lagunas
• Avalonia 0.10.x is no longer supported
