Otter Release v11

We are pleased to announce the release of version 11 of the Otter Framework 🎉 .

Highlights

This major version of Otter comes with:

New features:

• New builders for metadata migration (how to check for breaking changes on metadata)
• Rules-engine: Expose CurrentTimeFactService used for Date based operators
• SDK: Report performance marks on performance plugin
• Chrome-extension: Support states to save and share the customization applied in the extension

Breaking changes:

• Upgrade of major dependencies (Angular 18)
• Removed deprecated functions
• SDK: Renamed *RequestData and *Enum with API name prefix to avoid conflicts with multi tags APIs
• SDK: Moved CLI scripts linked to generation from @ama-sdk/core to @ama-sdk/schematics
• SDK: Turn x-local-timezone mandatory for utils.Date generation (the previous behavior can be kept using parameter useLegacyDateExtension)

Migration

Running the command ng update @o3r/core@~11.0.0 will perform the update of your library or application.
The same mechanism applies to the open-source version of the SDK’s core: ng update @ama-sdk/core@~11.0.0.
You can also check the documentation on how to run migration scripts for non-Angular projects.
