This appears to be more of an error with Chromium than the downloader. Curiously, I've had a similar issue with Chromium itself of a Raspberry PI.
When I try to download content from any Patreon the app seems to hang for a bit then I get a notification that I am not logged in and it errors out. Which is understandable.
Since Chromium didn't open a window to let me log in I went to the .local-chromium folder and ran it myself. I went to Patreon but as soon as I logged in the browser crashed. I think the profile is corrupted as that was the closest I could ever determine on Raspberry PI.
I deleted the .local-chromium folder and now it can't properly download a new copy. I have a zip file but its corrupted.

I fixed the issue with Chromium not downloading properly. I downloaded a copy myself and dropped the zip file into the proper folder within the PatreonDownloader folder and everything is working now.
Not sure if that was the "right" way to do it but it worked so I'm not omplaining.
