Remove small space on the left of tab bar #891
Comments
This seems to be something from the new UI google forced on everyone (and now part of Th24). I also don't like this space. For me, I usually have a lot of tabs on my "main" browser window and when tabs are really small it makes going to the first tab a pain. Most of the time I click in the space. In this situation it also makes the first tab more skinny than the rest. If possible, I would really like to see this space removed, which did not exist pre-Th24 aka Chrome UI refresh. |
that sucks why is google so fond of making stupid ui changes |
They definitely have no idea what they're doing. And to make it worse, a TON of people for a long time complained about it when it was in beta but they pushed it out anyway. |
sounds right… =[ |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I like to just throw my mouse at the edges of my screen but there is a small space on the left that makes it grab the window instead of switching to that tab! As comparison mercury doesn't have the same thing (yes I know that's firefox but a good example of expected behavior). Let me know if this is an upstream issue or already has a solution I missed! On x11 kde plasma if that means anything.
Describe the solution you'd like, including relevant patches or source
I don't know I guess a flag to disable it or just being removed entirely.
