Cut down on data/bandwdith requirements

  • Smarter use of Firebase specific functionality, ie. ref.child('events').child('20150829').orderByChild('timestamp').limitToLast(100)
  • Flatten Firebase structure for robustness
  • Angular's limit() function as it can be used
