Does function require a physical proximity sensor?

Unfortunately, Pocket Mode does not seem to work on my mobile phone. It's a Samsung A33 5G, which lacks a physical proximity sensor. If one is required, it would be helpful to include this information explicitly in the product description in the Google Play Store.

Well, it requires a proximity sensor that does reliably work... which seems to be a problem with non physical sensors.
